In line with our commitment to ensuring cyber safe environment and secure processes, we proudly announce that on February 5, 2020, we were granted a certificate of assurance under the Cyber Essentials information assurance scheme.
Data security is one of the cornerstones of reliable partnerships in our digital era, have no doubts about it. We at Qulix Systems have always paid very close attention to this crucial aspect. And now our efforts have been recognized at the international level by Capula, a British certification body with years of experience in developing, engineering and implementing advanced systems and integration solutions.
What is Cyber Essentials?
It is an information assurance scheme launched in 2014 by the UK government (the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, to be more precise) and maintained by the National Cyber Security Centre. Its purpose is to encourage enterprises to embrace good practices in information security, covering an assurance framework and a simple set of security controls in order to protect information from internet threats.
It was implemented in partnership with major industry representatives, including the Information Security Forum, the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium and the British Standards Institution.
Why Is This Certificate So Important?
The certificate is awarded upon successful completion of a verified self-assessment. A company certified in accordance with the Cyber Essentials scheme can be sure that its basic cyber security controls have been implemented correctly. So can its clients.
Qulix Systems was assessed as satisfactory against commodity based cyber attacks and is glad to meet the Cyber Essentials implementation profile. More information is available here.
