Last December, the Qulix office in Uzbekistan welcomed representatives from O‘zbekiston 24, a 24/7 TV channel with nationwide coverage, providing up-to-the-minute news and analytical content spanning the entire territory of the country.
During the TV visit to the Qulix office, Sherzod Almatov, Qulix UZ CEO, participated in an interview. In this engaging discussion, he expounded upon the prevailing conditions and future prospects regarding the exportation of IT services, with a particular emphasis on the opportunities for international companies within Uzbekistan’s burgeoning market.
A Few Figures to Think About
According to the latest data from IT Park Uzbekistan, the export of IT services from Uzbekistan witnessed a substantial surge, amounting to $238.7 million during the period spanning January to September 2023. Notably, this figure represents a threefold increase compared to the similar period in 2022. Furthermore, local digital exporters achieved a noteworthy milestone within the initial six months of 2023, surpassing the earnings amassed for the entire preceding year, which stood at $140.9 million in 2022. These impressive statistics can be attributed to the conducive conditions established for both international and local IT enterprises operating within the country’s market.
