On October 24, 2022, Alexander Sliborsky, Technical Director of Qulix UZ, took part in ICTWEEK 2022, an exhibition focusing on information and communications technologies.
The event was held on the premises of the International Tourism Centre in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and is ranked as the most remarkable event of the year in the region.
The tech week gathers large foreign and local companies that present their latest tech advancements. The event has been held since 2004, and for these 18 years, it has been uniting a wide range of specilized activities under one roof.
Our renowned speaker delivered a presentation entitled ‘Implementation of AI/ML: Hype or Necessity?’ where he tried to uncover the issue of why and where artificial intelligence is worth introducing. Thanks to many years of relevant expertise, Alexander supported his arguments with real-life examples from different domains pointing out such capabilities of AI/ML as predictive analytics, automation, anomaly detection, user education, plagiarism, enhanced accuracy, etc.
It is worth noting that as of now, Uzbekistan has managed to become a new IT hub, since the country possesses a huge potential in the information technologies field. This event is a bright opportunity to present the IT market of Uzbekistan to investors and establish cooperation between the state, companies, and consumers. It is supported by the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan.
